Live Events
I do the following:
- Play Solo Acoustic Guitar and Sing
- Play instrumental Spanish guitar with and without background music
- Play in a Duo with either another guitar/bass with harmony vocals, or with keyboards
- Play in a band for more party and dancing atmosphere .
- Provide sound (microphones and speakers) for lectures, band, mixers, meetings.
- Provide DJ services
- Guitar lessons, anyone ?
DJ & Sound
Often, business mixers, special events, or lectures need amplification. I provide the sound system and microphones and if needed, background music and monitor the sound so that it fits with the venue and atmosphere. Currently, I perform this duty for the Orange Chamber networking meetings on Weds (Profit Connection).
Guitar Lessons
One of the things I’ve been doing more is giving guitar lessons. I enjoy watching students get excited by playing the guitar and take pride when they learn. I try to maintain interest and not overwhelm with too much technical stuff. For intermediate players, I aim to clear up any misunderstandings and adjust for good playing. No matter what age – we all have the passion for guitar and music and that’s all you really need to play.
